Film: "Strive For Happiness" Mental Health
I am currently producing a film entitled, "Strive For Happiness" which is about the lives of those who have loved ones that suffer from the many forms of mental illness. I am looking for the support and word of mouth to get the name out for this important documentary. I would also like to thank NAMI of NJ and The Family Guidance Center of Warren County, NJ for providing me with so much valuable information. Thank you so much.

Stumbled across your blog while blogging.
I live not too far from you in Hunterdon County.
Max Ehrmann's, Desiderata hangs on my dressing room wall. So your blog ‘Strive for Happiness’ caught my attention.
My life has been profoundly touched by mental illness. It touched me from the time I was a young girl [living with a sibling that suffered from mental illness, although at the time is seemed like I was the only one who knew what it was] till the day of my brothers death, a week after my fourth child was born [blessed with Trisomy 21] when I got the call from my youngest brother that our brother had taken his own life.......till today, when I walked with my four children to the grave yard to place pink tulips on his grave and to tell him that he was an Uncle again [my youngest brother and wife just gave birth to their first daughter]. It touches me daily. But I do not let the sadness and despair harm me, but rather, I choose to let it strengthen me.
Good luck with your production. I hope it touches many people and helps others who might not have to travel down this same path in the future because of the work you are doing.
Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I would like to say that after speaking with many family members about their stories with "loved ones" that it is evident that we are not alone. I am sorry to hear about your story and I can only hope that you continue to take each new day positively. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. If you haven't already done so, I would like to recommend that you contact NAMI NJ. They have a tremendous amount of information that can be helpful to you. It has been extremely helpful to me.
Best of luck to you.
